Hatchwells Chalk Powder is a simple but effective grooming, dry cleaning and whitening product that is ideal for any animal. It helps groomers grip slippy coats when cleaning, stripping or trimming.
We use chalk powder as part of our routine show preperation with our horses. After bathing we apply chalk powder to any white on the horses legs, while they are still wet. We then do nothing else to the legs until we are at the show, after taking the horses travel boots off we give the legs another brush over and any travel marks or other marks come off along with the chalk.
